    Get Involved

    Salt Lake County has opportunities for anyone and everyone to help build better communities. From youth to seniors, college students to families, there's something you can do to help. Look below for information on upcoming one-time volunteer opportunities.

    How Lucky are We?

    Salt Lake County is obviously reaping the rewards of volunteers willing to step out of their comfort zone.  Be certain to give them an extra thank you when we hear these statistics.

    Spanish Speaking Volunteers Needed

    The Active Aging Program of Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services, is recruiting Spanish speaking volunteers who are interested in teaching a chronic condition self-management class.   

    Living Well with Chronic Conditions  

    This 6 week program teaches self-management skills to people suffering with a chronic condition or diabetes. 

    Some of the skills that this program teaches are: goal setting, problem solving, dealing with emotions, finding resources and support, communication, healthy eating , exercise, treatment decision, and medication management.

    Volunteer Program Highlights

    • Meals on Wheels
      Help deliver meals to seniors' homes with this program. Visit the Nutrition Program for more information
    • Patron Services
      Volunteers in this program provide services as ushers at Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theatre and the Rose Wagner Center. Visit Patron Services' website for more info.
    • Youth Services
